Sahitya Akademy Award Winners of Assam

The most prestigious award in literature field of India is Sahitya Akademy Award. This award is given to the book of outstanding merit in the recognized languages of Akademy. First Akademy Award was given in the year 1954. At Present Total Rs. 100000/- is given along with a plaque in this award.
