Applications are invited from male and female Indian Citizens for filling up the vacancies for the post of temporary Head Constable (Ministerial) (Group C) in Delhi Police in Level 4. They will be governed under Delhi Police Act and the Central Civil Services Rules applicable to other members of the force and the other Acts and rules applicable from time to time. On appointment they shall be entitled for the pension benefits as per the “New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme” applicable for the new entrants to the Central Government Services with effect from 01-01-2014.

EWS- 18 Nos.
OBC- 42 Nos.
SC- 27 Nos.

Pay Scale for the posts:
The pay matrix for the posts is in Level -4. (Rs. 25000- Rs.81100)
It must be remember that the Department announced that the number of posts is indicative and may be change anytime before declaration of result.
Other reservations:
10% of vacancies are reserved for Ex-Serviceman as per the Government of India’s instruction
3% vacancies are reserved for persons with disabilities (PWD).
Age:
The candidates must attain the age group of between 18 to 25 years on01-07-2019. Age relaxation for the following categories –
a) OBC- 28 Years
b) SC/ST- 30 Years
c) Persons with disabilities- 35 years for UR/EWS (38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST)
d) Widow/divorced women/Judicially separated women who are not remarried- 35 years for UR/EWS/ (38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST)
e)Sportsman/Sportswomen- 30 years for UR/EWS (35 years for SC/ST) who have represented State at the National Level and Country at International Level.
f) Departmental candidates of Delhi Police- 40 years for UR/EWS (43 years for OBC and 45 years for SC/ST) who have rendered 3 years regular and continuous service in Delhi Police.
Educational Qualification:
10+2(Senior Secondary) passed from a recognized board.
Professional qualification:
English typing speed- 30 words per minute or Hindi typing speed 25 words per minute.
Fee:
Rs 100/- only. (Persons belongs to SC/ST/Ex-serviceman/PWD and women candidates are exempted from the application fee.
