In pursuance of the DHE, Assam’s Letter No. DHE/CE/ Misc/35/2020/33 Dated, Kahilipara the 6th October, 2022, applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Principal of Kaliabor College. Applications in DHE Format accompanied by complete bio-data and supported by self-attested copies of all testimonials must reach the undersigned within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement.
Eligibility/Qualification:

i) A Masters Degree with at least 55% (or equivalent grade in a point scale) by a recognized University
ii) A Ph. D. Degree
iii) Professor/ Associate Professor with a total experience of fifteen years of teaching/ research in University/ Colleges and other institutions of higher
Education for the Vacancy in Kaliabor College.
iv) A minimum of 10 research publications in peer reviewed or UGC listed journals.
v) A minimum research score 110 as per Appendix- Table-2, as per UGC Regulation 2018
vi) A minimum as stipulated Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal in Appendix-III required for direct recruitment of Professor in Colleges
vii) A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided at the Graduate and Master’s Degree levels for the SC/ ST/ Differently abled candidates. The eligibility marks of 55% or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed and the categories mentioned above are permissible based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedures.
viii) A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D. Degree holders, who have obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19th September. 1991.
Age:
Upper age limit of 55 years.
Salary:
Rs. 1,44,200 – 2,18,200/-pm and other allowances as per rule.
Term: 5 years.
