Vacancy at Jawaharlal Nehru College, Boko: Applications are invited as per order of the Director of Higher Education, Assam vide No.DHE/CE/AC/Permission/ PL/141/2018/18 dated 11.09.2019 with complete Bio-data and supporting documents from HSLC onwards for the post of Principal in Jawaharlal Nehru College, Boko against regular vacant post from the qualified candidates through proper channel having required qualification, experience, norms etc. as prescribed by the Govt. of Assam and UGC guidelines.
Educational Qualifications:
a) Master Degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point of scale in grading system by a recognized
b) Ph.D. Degree in concerned/ allied relevant discipline(s) with evidence of published
c) Associate Professor/ Professor with at least 15 years Teaching Experience/ Research/ Administration in Universities/ Colleges/ Higher Education
d)A minimum of 10 Research Publications in peer reviewed or UGC listed journals.
e) A minimum of 110 research scores as per Appendix-II at Table 2 (UGC Guidelines of 18th July, 2018.
f) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on performance mentioned in Appendix-III for direct recruitment of Professor in University/ Colleges.
g) 5% relaxation marks at Graduate and Master Degree level in both traditional and grade point system is admissible to SC/ST/ Differently Able candidates.
h) A relaxation of 5% mark is admissible from 55% to 50% of marks to the Ph.D. Degree holders who have obtained their Master Degree prior to 19th September, 1991.
Age:
Upper age limit is 55 years as per prescribed rules.
The term of the Principal shall be 5 (Five) years as per Government Notification (No. AHE/643/2016/12 dated 09.11.2017) published by the DHE, Assam.
Application in prescribed proforma issued by the DHE, Assam should be submitted to the President, Governing Body of Jawaharlal Nehru College, Boko within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 4000/- (Four Thousand only) in favour of Principal Jawaharlal Nehru College, Boko, at UBI, Boko Branch. Short listed candidates will be intimated for interview. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates.
