Situation Vacant In pursuance of DHE’s letter No. DHE/CE/Misc/149/2017/87-A dtd. Kahilipara the 08th October 2021 and Govt. of Assam Higher Education Deptt’s. vide memo no. AHE.435/2021/4-A datd. Dispur the 08th October, 2021 applications with complete Bio-data and supporting testimonials from HSLC onwards are invited for the post of Principal, Murkong Selek College, Jonai against regular vacancy through proper channel from candidates having qualification, experience, norms, etc. as per existing UGC rules and Govt. of Assam guidelines (O.M. No.AHE.45/2019/2-A dated 25th February 2019.
Qualifications:
1. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever grading system is followed) by a recognized University.
2. A Ph.D Degree in concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline(s) in the institution concerned with evidence of published works.
3. Associate Professor/ Professor with a total experience of 15 (fifteen) years of Teaching/Research/administration in Universities/ Colleges and other institutions of Higher Education.
4. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal in Appendix-III for direct recruitment of Professors in Colleges.
5. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided at the Graduate and Master’s Level for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/differently abled (Physically and visually differently-abled) categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic records during direct recruitment to teaching positions. The eligibility marks of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in point scale wherever grading system is followed and the relaxation of 5% marks to the categories mentioned above are permissible based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedures.
6. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided from 55% marks to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D Degree holders who have obtained their Master Degree prior to 19th September 1991.
7. Upper age limit of 55 years as per prescribed rules.
8. A minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
9. A minimum of 110 Research score as per Appendix-II at Table -2
Applications should be filled in the prescribed Performa issued by the DHE, Assam and to be submitted to the President, Governing Body, Murkong Selek College, Jonai Dist. Dhemaji within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 5000/- (Rupees Five thousand) only (non-refundable) drawn in favor of Principal, i/c & Secretary, Murkong Selek College, Jonai and payable at SBI, Jonai branch IFSC Code: SBIN0005557. Call letters for the interview will be issued to the eligible candidate in due course of time. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates called for the Interview.
